Tourism and Outings Apart from the historical buildings of Tarifa, you have many other attractive spots to visit in the nearby. Right to the east of Tarifa, between Tarifa and Algeciras, there are some rocky beaches, quite unknown, excellent for scuba diving. Still to the west, you can decide to visit Gibraltar, or take a Ferry to Ceuta from Algeciras. From Tarifa many agencies organize guided tours in Morocco as well as one day excursions to Africa. Going to the west you can visit many Andalusian villages and the best golf fields next to Cadiz. Wineries, 'cortijos' and mosques complete and infinite offer which will take the whole vacations by their own. |

If you like nature and you enjoy living new experiences, it is certainly worthwhile to reserve one day of your stay to take a whale watch excursion. Can you hear the call of the desert? Don´t worry, you are not the only one. Africa lays just 13 Km south from Tarifa and it´s got something special that attracts people.
